Over the last week we have run and participated in many activities.
Throughout the week we had many of our ambassador's going to each tutor group selling our Anti-Bullying wristbands. This was a wonderful triumph due to all the bands being sold out. Even our head teacher participated in wearing his band. Each morning during assemblies, our Year 10 students performed a play with a very strong message about bullying. On Tuesday, the Year 10 ambassadors were very fortunate to have Eagle Radio come in and talk to us about bullying. On Wednesday we had a cake sale, raising nearly £100.
Finally on Friday we had a wear blue day. All students came into school wearing blue and all profits went to a worthy charity. In the afternoon the Year 7’s had a wonderful rock concert. We had a special guest, Sophie Scott and our school showcased their talent through songs that meant a lot to them about bullying.
M5 is always open at lunch time, so if you think you're being bullied or know someone that is , come in and have a chat or look for the blue coats round school at lunchtime who will also be able to help.
